Job Summary

We are seeking a creative sales and marketing specialist to join Human Made. Your role will be to effectively engage leads created by our marketers and convert them into sales qualified opportunities. You will collaborate with our marketers who will develop content and campaigns while you manage lead engagement, follow-up and directly nurture enterprise prospects to drive business growth. 

You should be an effective researcher, and able to identify ICPs to invite to our events and engage with our content. You must be someone who loves getting to know prospects, understanding their business needs, and be able to connect those needs to the solutions that Human Made offers. You are outgoing, love to meet people and are always extending your network.

This will suit someone with a background as an SDR or BDM, but agency sales is an essential so it would not suit someone from a purely Saas or product background. You should understand the agency sales cycle and the role that you play in it.  

You will be at the heart of our growth engine, collaborating with marketers to create content, identify ICPs, and disseminate our content, and with our salespeople on qualifying enterprise opportunities. You should be confident in both marketing and sales and help to build success across our Sales & Marketing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, manage and nurture enterprise leads and convert those leads into sales qualified opportunities. Your KPIs are meetings booked and your Sales Qualified Opportunity conversion rate.
  • Conduct outbound outreach to enterprise organisations, using a consultative approach to understand their needs and present Human Made’s WordPress solutions as the ideal fit. 
  • Engage with leads throughout their discovery process, providing valuable insights and resources to help them evaluate their options and move towards a decision.
  • Work with our marketers to develop and implement content and campaigns that address the needs of enterprise prospects, supporting both lead generation and sales efforts. 
  • Work with the sales team to optimise the sales process, providing feedback and insights on what’s working and where improvements can be made, particularly in the context of long enterprise sales cycles.
  • Help organise and execute online events, webinars, and workshops, managing post-event lead follow-up and building relationships with key contacts.

Requirements

  • 3-4 years experience in sales development for web software services within a B2B setting (we are not looking for someone from a pure Saas or product background)
  • Be proficient in creating and setting up outreach that is effective when making new connections and nurturing relationships. 
  • Strong understanding of content marketing and how it supports complex sales processes, particularly in the technology space.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior-level stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and sales/marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Apollo or similar).
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic remote environment.
